About the anthology

The first Sentinel Literature Festival Anthology will be published in October 2010 and will feature new Poetry, Fiction and Drama edited by Amanda Sington-Williams (Fiction), Unoma Azuah (Poetry) and Nnorom Azuonye (Drama). The book will also feature 10 poems from the Sentinel Literature Festival Poetry Competition 2010, selected by judge Roger Elkin.

What can you submit?

Poetry: Submit previously unpublished poems on any subject or style up to 60 lines long. Make sure that your name as you would like to be credited appears on your manuscript.

Short Stories: Submit previously unpublished stories on any subject or style up to 2000 words long. Make sure that your name as you would like to be credited appears on your manuscript.

Drama: Submit previously unpublished short plays on any subject or style up to 8,000 words long. These short plays must be complete pieces and not scenes or excepts from longer plays. We will accept and abridged version of a play, but any reader must get a sense that he has read a complete story. Make sure that your name as you would like to be credited appears on your manuscript.

Submission Deadline: July 31, 2010

Payment: No cash payment. Every author will receive 1 free contributor's and 20% discount on any additional copies purchased.

Copyright: If we accept any work for publication, we will acquire the copyright to it until the publication of the book. 6 months after publication, copyright reverts to the author. Please ensure that you submit only your own original work.
