Author's bio: Simran is a graduate in Economics with a Government of India scholarship and a post graduate in Business Management (Human Resources). She currently works as a Asia Pacific Sector Leader for Hay Group, a global consulting firm. Alongside working in management consulting for the past 7.5 years with a diverse set of clients across the globe she writes poetry as a medium to express her thoughts and writing is her core area of interest. She is actively sharing it in poetry reading sessions in large clubs such as Delhi Poetree. Her work has been published online on websites such as www.freeindiamedia.com and http://apostrophe-o.com in the past. She maintains her own blog for poetry http://simran-oberoi.blogspot.com/. Simran was also a Coordinator for “Voices” which is a supplementary publication of The Statesman, for articles on non-government organizations like CRY and SAHAY. Apart from poetry her work related publications have been for HR magazines such as People Matters, Human Capital and Oil Asia – International Edition.
