Wordsmith Guwahati Short Story Writing Competition
WordSmith Publishers, Guwahati will organize an English Short Story Writing Competition on Sunday the 30th of May 2010 at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri Branch from 10am to 12pm. School students from Class VII to XII are eligible to participate and compete. Stationeries will be provided by WordSmith Publishers.

This is an endeavor to bring together and elevate young aspiring English writers and present them with a common collective competitive edge. The ‘Nagendra Nath Kataky Memorial Award’ initiated for the first time by Wordsmith Publishers will be awarded to the Two Best Stories selected from the competition by WordSmith’s Editorial Board. In addition winners will receive citations and cash prizes.

WordSmith Publishers Creative Team comprises eminent writers, artists, photographers, film makers, cultural activists, book promoters and headed by Proprietor-Editor Rupanjali Baruah.
