Sulit.com.ph, in partnership with Islandrose and Beauche International, is inviting everyone to join the Sulit Mother’s Day poetry writing contest. Make your mama proud by expressing your thoughts through poetry. Join now and let the world know that your Mom is the greatest.
Guidelines and Mechanics
1. This contest is open to all Sulit members.
2. Type up your own Mother’s Day Poem in not more than 150 words using MSWord.
3. Poems can be in English or Tagalog.
4. Poems may be of any form.
5. Poems should be original. Any entry proven to be copied will automatically be disqualified.
6. Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 poems.
7. Deadline of submission of entries will be on May 27, 2010 at 12:00 midnight.
Submission of entries
1. All interested sulitizens should submit their entries at promos@sulit.com.ph
2. The following format should be followed upon sending your entry:
* Name:
* Sulit Username:
* Name of Mother:
* Address of Mother:
* Title of Poem:
* Contact Number:
* (do not forget to attach your poem entry to your email)
Criteria for judging:
1.There will be a pre-judging wherein the top 20 poems will be chosen. Selected judges within Sulit shall be given copies of the poem via email. The poems will not reflect any identification of the author.
2.The poems will be judged based on the following criteria:
* Structure of poem 40%
* Originality 40%
* Over-all impact 20%
3.Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable
4.Winners will be announced on May 28, 2010
Prizes:
Five (5) winners will receive a bouquet from Islandrose and a special Beauche Beauty Set, with a print out of their winning poem, to be delivered to their respective mothers at the end of the month.
