Pearl Buck Short Story Writing Contest
Submissions will be accepted in three age categories: Middle School & High School: Ages 12 – 17: word count not to exceed 1,500 words, and Adult: (over age 18) word count not to exceed 2,500 words. There will be two winning levels for each age category: “The Pearl” and a 2nd Place. Winners will be announced at PSBI International Day, September 12, 2010. All Submissions should be mailed to:

Story must be original and not previously published. It must be typed, double spaced. Your name, address, and phone number must be on the upper left corner of the first page. Word count printed on the upper right corner. All other pages must have your name on the upper left corner above the page number. A submission form must accompany all manuscripts.
