Call for Submissions, Untying Our Hands: Writing to Cope with the Gulf Disaster
If you’re like us, the recent BP oil spill in the Gulf splits your heart in two, frustrates to the point of total impotence, and lastly, leaves you feeling empty. For lack of a better way to stop the daily-compounding tragedies, we are dedicating a portion of our website to one of literature's finest purposes: to help us cope when there are no tangible answers.

We’re looking for your poems, essays, imagery, and scribblings–the things you’ve written down since this spill occurred. Email them to Bob Dixon at info@typecastpublishing.com. We’ll get through as many of them as we can, and will post as many as we can right here on the site in the hope it will help bring us together, inspire answers and action, and remind us that our potential for overcoming our challenges is equal to our potential to destroy.

This call for submissions is open until otherwise notified.
