Black Label Books is NOW Open for Submissions
Black Label Books (BLB) accepts short stories and novellas- no novel length manuscripts, please. Short stories must be 1500 to 5000 words. Longer submissions may be considered at the editor's discretion. Novellas must be 10,000 to 20,000 words. BLB considers submissions in the following genres: Horror, Romance, Erotica (sweet to scorching), Horrotica, YA, Poetry Collections, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi. We will be catering to the casual reader market- commuters, waiting room prisoners (ha!), and anyone in need of quick intelligent entertainment. Note in your cover letter or query the genre of your work. BLB welcomes unpublished authors.

Payment: BLB is a royalty paying publisher. All authors receive a %50 royalty on each sale of their work. In an effort to keep our house transparent- starting prices of short stories for readers is $1 USD. This means that every sale earns the author .50 cent. Author may choose their payment schedule. Payout begins at $10 accrued. Authors will receive monthly updates of their sales and earnings.
