More than 50 poets from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, Sri Lanka, Oman, Jordan, Indonesia, Syria, the Philippines, Qatar, Iraqi Kurdistan, Lebanon, India, and other European/African countries will attend the International Conference on Persian Poetry to be held in Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz from April 17th to 21st.
The conference will introduce Iranian poets and Persian poetry to the world, and establish interaction with other countries in terms of literature. Iran's Deputy Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister for Cultural Affairs Mohsen Parvis has urged all Iranian poets to participate in this conference and to "make the most out of this opportunity."
