Description: Usok is a quarterly web-based magazine of Speculative Fiction by Filipino authors, whether based in the Philippines or abroad. It is published by Rocket Kapre Books, and edited by Paolo Gabriel V. Chikiamco. ["Usok" is the Filipino word for "smoke"--one thing that both Rockets and Kapres have in common.] We believe that Filipino SF writers have something unique to bring to the genre table. Usok is our small way of helping out by providing both a regular market for their short fiction, and giving these stories wide distribution by making them available for free online.
