Iconic Australian Fashion Legend Jenny Bannister will join Project Runway’s Sarah Gale and a host of others in Poetry in Fashion; a unique event where the worlds of poetry and fashion will merge in a label launch, panel discussion and poetry performance. Discussing poetry and fashion will be editor of X and Y Magazine Amber Renae, poet and fashion aficionado Cassandra Atherton, poet for fashion label Stitch in Rhyme Lisa Gorton, Aussie Fashion Legend Jenny Bannister and TV fashion judge and entrepreneur Sarah Gale. The night will be hosted by LMFF’s Cultural Program Manager Mikala Tai.

The Australian Poetry Centre (APC) aims to strengthen the profile of Australian poetry by promoting the reading, writing and publishing of Australian poetry. The APC was established in 2007 and is based at the Wheeler Centre for Books Writing and Ideas.
