PEN Writing Competition for Muslim Youth
‘The Pen Writing Competition’ is an international short story writing competition designed to find talent within Muslim youth. This competition mainly encourages creativity and an Islamic touch in your stories.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the talented Muslim youth around the world to use their creativity and writing skills in a positive way. So that these future leaders can grow up tomorrow to provide our Muslim toddlers with a better substitute to replace the usual bedtime stories about wicked witches and princesses. Or to use their skills to write books that will give the teenagers of tomorrow an alternative to novels that give them no gain.

We are pleased to announce that there are valuable prizes for the first, second and third place winners in each of our five topics. Not to mention that we will PUBLISH an anthology of all the winning stories!

Inshallah, we will be accepting entries till the 10th of July, 2010. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that you can’t miss. Just do your best, be creative, and send us your short story.
