Description: AALITRA is a national organisation that promotes an interest in all aspects of literary translation. We publish an annual online journal (The AALITRA Review) which carries articles and translations. We also distribute news of events and conferences relevant to translators. AALITRA sponsors public lectures and events on literary translation and holds periodic conferences with university bodies interested in the theory and practice of literary translation. If you have an interest in literary translation, and especially world literature in translation, please consider joining the Association.
