Description: Since 1952, Heights has established itself as an Atenean and Filipino literary institution, garnering both national and international recognition to stake its claim as one of the best literary folios available. For 57 years, writers and artists such as Gregorio Brilliantes, Emmanuel Torres, Emmanuel Lacaba, Salvador Bernal, and Benilda Santos have found a home in Heights on their way to prominence. As such, Heights aims to continue and contribute more to the Ateneo literary and artistic tradition of excellence through the publication of quarterly issues and the sponsorship of the annual Ateneo – Heights Writers Workshop which aims to develop homegrown literary talent. Regular activities include the Heights Creative and Art Talk Series and Book Launches. Faithful to the ideals of Ignatian spirituality, service, and excellence, Heights is geared towards developing a community of readers, artists, and writers within and outside the University.
