31st SAARC Festival of Literature
The FOUNDATION OF SAARC WRITERS AND LITERATURE (FOSWAL), in collaboration with Indian Council of Cultural Relations, proudly presents the 31st SAARC Festival of Literature, from 26th March to 28th March, 2010, at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The Festival overflows to 29th when the participating writers will interact with University students.

It is a four-day Festival of writers and intellectuals, artists and environmentalists, academicians and media persons, performing and visual artists, folklorists and historians of the unique civilization of the region, including theatre artists and cultural activists, peace and gender activists, and the creative-intellectual fraternity in general from eight countries : Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

This year, the Themes of the Festival are Literature and Environment.
