An Evening of Poetry and Music is an annual event that marks the end of the NUS Creative Writing competition. As its name suggests, the two hour event (21 Feb, 7pm-9pm) held on a balmy Sunday evening at The Arts House will celebrate the works of established artistes such as Ng Yi Sheng and Chris Mooney Singh as well as other budding student writers. In between the dramatic readings of winning pieces of poetry and prose, there will also be performances by talented singers, dancers and possibly even actors. Best of all, this event is open for all to enjoy and absolutely free of charge. For more information, please drop an email at nuslitsoc@yahoo.com.sg.
