Description: Delhi International Literary Festival [DILF] is the first major literary festival of its kind to be held in the capital city of New Delhi in India. It is currently held under the initiative of the larger multi-genre multi-venue month-long Delhi International Arts Festival [DIAF]. DILF operates in association with Atlas, Aark Arts, Sahitya Akademi, and Indian Council for Cultural Relations. The 2008 inaugural edition features 40 leading international and 20 Indian writers, representing nearly 30 languages.
